Lancer approached me with this as a starting point to rethink the UX for Bounties (freelance contracts).

Rethinking Bounties

The goal was to create a two-sided marketplace that rethinks how contracts are found and carried out by both the freelancer and the client.

I made the decision to design the platform around not just a two-sides marketplace, but around the categories of freelancers (quests.) This gave us our 3 main categories of engineering, design, and marketing.

Conclusion

And thus, a two sided marketplace was born.
